Explore the Journey

What the
journey is

A guided, eight-months program that takes you to a public Profit for Good commitment.

In a small cohort, you define what Profit for Good means to your company. What do you want to achieve? Which partners can help? And how to involve your employees.

We offer you personal introductions to business leaders who've done this before and the best experts from our network. By June 2027, you're invited to share your story at our launching conference.

We’re curating a cohort of 5 businesses. We'd rather guide a few well than many superficially.

Becoming Profit for Good

Frequently Asked Questions

We're looking for a combination of factors that make a great cohort as a whole. Things we consider are profitability, sector diversity, motivation and culture, norm-building power, and likeliness to commit.

We understand a 10% commitment is not a light decision, and often not one you take alone. During our conversations we will discuss what fits your case, so that you can make the commitment before the kick-off. That way, everyone in the room has already taken the same step.

Yes. That said, we will nudge you to look at problems that are sizable, solvable and sorely overlooked. And we're happy to help you find the organizations proven most effective at solving them. We call this applying a business mindset to giving: looking for the solutions of the highest quality.

Our ultimate goal is to support every company that wants to become Profit for Good. But our current team is small, so we decided to focus on a few, guide them closely, and share those lessons with the world. If you want support on the road to a 10% commitment but don't meet all criteria right now, we still encourage you to sign up. We'll keep you informed of future opportunities.

Before the kick-off, you make your first donation of €50 000. Half goes to a charity of your choice: this is the start of your giving. The other half supports Profit for Good, and covers the Journey itself: the kick-off, the peer sessions, and our support along the way.

Time-wise, we invite you as the founder or CEO to join the kick-off (1.5 days), two digital peer sessions (1.5 hours each), and the conference (1.5 days). We highly encourage involving a motivated staff member early on, to work with us day to day.

10% of zero is still zero. Take care of your business first and make it a success, so you can share that success with the world. Your commitment stays; the donation simply follows your results.

No. The Journey is for profitable, privately-owned companies where the people who own the business can make this decision themselves. Family businesses are a natural fit, but founder-led and partner-owned companies are just as welcome.

As public as you are comfortable with. You don't have to share anything, but we will invite and encourage you to do so. This way, you inspire others to join.

Yes, as soon as you're ready to commit to 10%.
